After looking at our call volume data, it’s more clear than ever why after-hours calls are so important. This graph shows data collected from all of our clients during Jan 1 through June 30 of this year. It totals literally millions of calls. The time scale is the local time for the location of each client. When you total the calls outside of the hours from 8AM to 6PM, it comes to 21.3% of all calls. When you do the math of how many of those are reservation calls and how many of those you typically convert to a confirmed reservation, this can add up to some serious bucks in no time (no pun intended).
Your best solution, of course, would be to use the NAVIS RezForce professional call center service to answer your after-hours calls. At the very least, do something that makes sure these calls are answered by someone who has the ability to book them.
